Workeadi is built on trust. We collect only what is necessary to operate the Platform effectively and to serve both workers and employers. We do not sell your personal data to any third party — ever.

This Privacy Policy applies to all users of the Workeadi Platform, including workers, employers, and visitors.

We collect the following types of data when you use the Platform:

Personal Information

• Full name and email address
• Country and city of residence
• Phone number (if provided during onboarding)
• Profile photo (if uploaded)

Professional Information

• Work preferences, availability, and skills
• Resume or work history (if submitted)
• Company name, size, and hiring needs (employers)

Assessment and Evaluation Data

• Submitted assignments and task responses
• Readiness scores and evaluation notes
• Interview evaluations completed by the Workeadi admissions team

Platform Usage Data

• Login events, including IP address and user agent
• Pages visited and actions taken within the Platform
• Device type, browser, and operating system

Authentication Data

• Hashed passwords (we never store plain-text passwords)
• Verification codes (used for two-factor authentication)
• Session tokens (temporary, stored as secure cookies)

We use collected data for the following purposes:

• Readiness evaluation — To assess your skills, communication, and reliability against real job expectations
• Platform operation — To manage accounts, process applications, and facilitate matching between workers and employers
• Security — To detect and prevent fraudulent activity, unauthorised access, and platform abuse
• Platform improvement — To analyse usage patterns and improve the quality of our readiness programmes and matching systems
• Internal communications — To send status updates, notifications, and programme information relevant to your account
• Internal marketing — To inform Workeadi communications and outreach. We do not share your data with external marketing partners.

We share your data only in limited, purposeful circumstances:

• With employers (workers only) — When you reach the placement stage, relevant profile and readiness information is shared with matched employers as part of the hiring process. You are informed of this as part of platform functionality.
• Service providers — We use trusted third-party providers for infrastructure (e.g., database hosting, email delivery). These providers access data only as necessary to provide their service and are bound by confidentiality obligations.
• Legal obligations — We may disclose data when required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of our users or the public.

We take the security of your account seriously. All passwords are hashed using industry-standard cryptographic methods before storage. We do not have access to your plain-text password.

Session data is stored as secure, HTTP-only cookies and is not accessible to client-side scripts. We also use two-factor authentication via email-based verification codes for all sign-in events.

Authentication data — including session tokens and verification codes — is never shared externally and expires automatically.

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Withdraw consent for non-essential data processing

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as required to fulfil the purposes described in this policy. If you close your account, we will delete or anonymise your personal data within a reasonable period, unless retention is required by law or legitimate business interest (e.g., resolving disputes, preventing fraud).

Workeadi uses cookies to maintain user sessions and ensure platform security. Session cookies are required for the Platform to function and are not used for advertising or tracking across third-party websites.

We do not use third-party advertising cookies or sell cookie data.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify registered users via email or in-platform notification. The effective date at the top of this policy reflects when the current version came into effect.
